Description
Gone are the days of hiding your plastic kitchen compost caddy in your cupboard. You will want to show this beautiful, red rose ceramic caddy off to all of your friends and family. They probably won’t know it is for food waste because of the cleverly designed bag-retaining ring to keep your liner hidden. These ceramic caddies are fully glazed inside for ease of cleaning; however, we would recommend using the 5L or 6L compostable bags to keep the inside of your caddy as clean as possible.Handmade and glazed in the UK especially for us by Peregrine Pottery, this caddy is the perfect match if you already own items from their Burgundy Sprig ceramic ware range. Just because these caddies are lovely to look at, this does not mean they lack practicality. The lid contains holes to let the caddy breath and includes a carbon filter (plus one spare) to help keep odours to a minimum.
Cleaning and use
If you are going to place this caddy on a delicate surface, it is recommended that you place it on a mat to prevent scratching. Your caddy can be cleaned by washing in hot soapy water. Remove the filter and ring first and ensure the caddy can dry thoroughly before putting back on your worktop to avoid possible staining.- NOT DISHWASHER SAFEFilter to keep smells at bay
The lid is vented and fitted with a carbon filter to help keep smells at bay. We recommend changing the odour absorbing filter every 3 months or when smells become noticeable. One spare filter is also included.Colour

We do our best to match the colour of the product to the images you see on screen, but it is very difficult as every caddy varies and every screen shows colours differently.
